Join us for an NCSEA pre-recorded webinar on "Insidious Thermal Forces in Steel Structures" presented by Barry Arnold, P.E., S.E. on Wednesday, January 13th from 12pm - 1:30pm.

This pre-recorded session will expand the attendee’s knowledge of how changes in temperatures and poor detailing of structural members and systems adversely affect individual members and entire buildings. The attendee will have a better understanding about how damage and failures from thermal forces can be minimized and how the damage can be economically repaired.

Barry Arnold, P.E., S.E. served five years on the Board of the Structural Engineers Association of Utah (SEAU) and was President of the SEAU in 2004. He also served the structural engineering profession on the NCSEA Board of Directors for 7 years. He was President of NCSEA in 2014-15. Barry was honored by being selected as the Engineer of the Year by the Utah Engineers Council in 2007.

This course will award 1.5 hours of continuing education.

Cost is free to members and students.  Cost is $20 for non-members ($15 earlybird rate for registration prior to January 6th).

After registering for the event, you will receive a separate email from “SEAOG Webinar” the week of the event with a confirmation and instructions for joining the webinar.  Please check your spam folder if you have trouble locating this email.
