SEER Committee

SEAOG's SEER committee seeks to improve the level of knowledge of Georgia professionals interested in emergency response, and serves as a resource to those needing professional engineering assistance following natural disasters.  The SEER committee establishes and maintains liaisons with appropriate state and national agencies and stands ready to assist the public in their time of need.  All SEER responders are trained to meet CalOES Safety Assessment Program requirements, or equivalent. If you are interested in the activities of the SEER Committee, you can send an email to [email protected] for more information.

The SEAOG SEER volunteers are registered members of the Disaster Response Alliance (DRA), which is a national database of registered skilled volunteers on call to help with building assessments following catastrophic events and natural disasters.  For more information, visit www.disasterresponse.org/

For more information and resources on Emergency Response and initiatives coordinated at the national level, visit that NCSEA Emergency Response.
